Heresy or Travesty? Enamaled Heresy Industrials rescued from a life of shame and degradation.

These are a pair of Klipsch Heresy Industrials that as youngsters were strung up from the ceiling in a bar in a part of town that specializes in Gay bars. S/M treatment, clearly. Following that torture for a few years, they had a rough coat of ecru enamel (or nicotine stained white enamel) slapped on them for further degradation for home/garage use and neglect.

They were rescued by, and now reside in the home of, a young couple who are expecting their first baby. The grill covering is a perfect way to protect the woofer cone/dome from the pokings of a toddler.

While plans include the possible restoration to the original dark grey/speckled black finish, a coat of pink for the new baby girl might be an appropriate interim step.
